Unknown Best Places to Eat Lunch Close to Campus

Unknown Best Places to Eat Lunch Close to Campus

Week, after week of Taco Tree can become too much for one person. Many students are unaware of the better places to eat in Auburn. It’s time to broaden some horizons and change where students usually go too to buy food.

Everyday when the bell rings for lunch, students run to eat their lunch and enjoy their free time all over campus, as well as off campus. Most students are seen in the same, popular spots everyday; in the cafeteria, down at Taco Tree, and all around Central Square. Besides these favorite spots, where do other students really go? Does Auburn hold great lunch spots that no one really knows about? There are so many good places to eat beyond the campus. Students should go out and try these places.

“One place that I like is Pacha Mamma’s,” SeaAnna Fichtner, stated. Pacha Mamma’s is an organic café and is great for students to eat lunch at. It is close enough for students to walk to and offers an incredible menu for vegans and vegetarians. The food there is really healthy and tastes good too. It’s not super expensive and gives you the good energy to push through the rest of the day. It is inside the Gold Country Mall off of 160 Harrison Ave, close to Bernie’s Hotdogs.

“I like to go to Raley’s. They have really good sandwiches that you can just grab and go, and they’re only three dollars,” stated sophomore Lauren Collins. Raley’s is super convenient if you have a car. They have an unlimited supply of different kinds of food, because it is a grocery store. They have a deli where you can make your own sandwiches and they have pre-made sandwiches that are really inexpensive. They also have good, cheap Chinese food that you can help yourself to. Raley’s has many healthier items as well as endless chips and drinks. It’s a great, fast place to venture to.

Most students are good at taking advantage of their cars and driving to their favorite places to eat. Other students enjoy the same places for lunch since their freshman year, but there are still a lot of good places to eat lunch that should be visited. Some places are popular and some places are still undiscovered. There are several great places around campus to eat lunch that are healthier and cheaper; and more kids should branch out and give them a try. Auburn has lots of good places to eat; everyone should go out and enjoy them.
