It’s that time of year again all seniors are making their choices for colleges. A lot of kids have waited and worked hard for this moment. This moment marks the time for teens to finally enter the real world and live like an adult it also marks the moment where the kids are let free and chase their dreams by studying the profession they want to go into. California has many colleges to offer and many of them are popular nationwide. number one, Stanford and from then, UC Los Angeles, University of Southern California, UC San Diego, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, San Francisco State, Chico State, and Cal Poly. All of these colleges are well known not only native Californians but nationwide. Many of them have some of the most beautiful campuses around the world.

All of these colleges have a wide variety of majors. the top ten most popular majors are biomedical engineering, Biometrics, forensics science, computer game design, Cyber security, Data science, Business analytics, petroleum engineering, and public health. All of these majors are offer worldwide. Some of these majors can make a student coming out of college some big bucks.  “I’m looking forward to college. I am looking forward to getting out of my house although I am a little nervous about what colleges I will get accepted to.” said Sabine Monzon Hansen.

Overall college is a memorable experience that can get you some big advantages once you get out in the world of jobs. Your major can help get some experience about the job you want to do. Every college offers extracurricular activities many which are different from high school. Most college sports that are connected with the school usually have almost pro athletes. If you are not a top tier athlete you can start your own unofficial team which is great fun. “I think college is something everyone is worried about in high school but from what my brothers and sister say it’s not as bad as you think. The hard part is choosing where we want to go.” said placer high student Steven Lundberg.

Many college graduates say that college is the best time of their life. At college you meet lifelong friends and acquaintances. College is the mark for high schools students to take the next step in both their life and their education. It is the point in time where they take hold of their education and their future.
