The JV football team has started the season off with one win and one loss. The Varsity team has started off with one loss and one win. Both teams seem to be doing good, but how do each of the teams affect each other?

Each of these teams have had a good season start off. The Varsity team are seen as the older and higher up team, and the JV is seen as a strong football team.

“I think that all football players are kinda cocky,” says cheerleader Megan Mikelionis, “They both try to beat each other too.”

“Not at all, or at least they don’t show it. I think they are confident versus cocky,” said Senior football player Johnny Capra when asked about whether he thinks the JV team is cocky.

The Varsity team is seen as the most revered team in the school because they are the oldest football team, and our school is dedicated to football. The JV team wants to show them up, a historic rivalry.

“I mean it kind of makes me mad because I know they are very well capable of winning their games, but I don’t think it affects Varsity from my view” said Capra after being asked if JV affects Varsity at all.

The decisions that JV makes is based off of Varsity, so Varsity affects JV. JV gives the Varsity team a reason to do their best to beat someone else and show off..

The PVL League games are also coming up and we need to win to gain another win on our winning streak and move both of our teams to the top.

These teams also benefit from each other in many ways. The Wins, the encouragement, the motivation, the will, the power, the fight, and the glory. In a way these teams need each other to get better because they move forward together and push to beat each other. If one of these two teams were gone there would be nobody to beat, nobody to show off to, it would be wrong.

The power of each other moves these two on and gives power to the people. The one to make the game are the ones in the crowd.
