Is Apple going crazy coming out with the iPhone 5 and the iPad Mini the Features on the all the iPhone are Different.

Apple’s newest product is the iPhone 5.The iPhone 5 has Siri, an 8 Mega pixel camera as well as panorama camera, processes faster than the 4 or the 4s,it’s headphone jack is also at the bottom of the phone now. The iPhone 5’s main competition is the Samsung Galaxy 3s.

“No Apple isn’t going crazy. Why not put out as much as you can while you’re big then to struggle later?” says iPhone 4 owner, Letha Moore.

The iPhone 5 does not have support for SD card, while the Samsung Galaxy 3S does, up to 64GB. This means that you can get the cheapest 16GB version and put in a $50 64GB SD card and end up with 80GB in total. Since the iPhone 5 has an aluminum body it is also prone to scratching.

Many people will say that the new iPhone 5 has taken a step backwards rather than forwards. However one thing in favor of Apple is that their customer service is excellent and problems are generally worked out with very little fuss. They are quick to fire out software updates to squash any bugs and the Apple Store is nice enough to help you with hardware defects should you need a replacement.

I’ll admit that the new iPhone 5 hasn’t got the magic of the original iPhone when it was first released or when the iPhone 3GS was updated to the iPhone 4.

The improvement in resolution is also noticeable. Though the camera is the same as the iPhone 4S, (the rather impressive 8 mega pixel iSight camera) photos do appear clearer, as do any other images you bring up on the screen. While both the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5 have facial recognition technology for still images, the iPhone 5 has added this feature for videos too. The rather fun-to-play-with Panorama feature comes with the i0S6 software update, and allows you to take effortless panoramic shots even while you are moving. The front-facing high definition Face Time camera is also much improved. You can now use it on your 3G network and not only with the Wi-Fi as was the case with the iPhone 4.

There are new and improved tweaks to other apps as well. The calendar has a new feature, which allows you to enter your appointments according to time zone, saving you some confusion if you are traveling abroad. Then there’s the new Do Not Disturb feature (also available through the i0S6 update), which you can tailor to your needs. For example you can silence the first call but not the second one coming from the same person, or set it so that certain people can call you even if the feature is on.

The frenzied anticipation with which Apple launches are treated has its ups and downsides for the company: on the other hand the iPhone 5 was a sell out as soon as it hit the market.  Unfortunately on the other the company didn’t stand a chance of living up to the lofty expectations of the new phone. If you have an iPhone 4S it’s fair to say that you are unlikely to be completely bowled over by the new phone Still it’s a step up on what was already a very good device, and it’s a fun and easy to use phone that is both attractive and useful – something that not many out there in the market can claim to be.
